On Monday, October 10, the mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, visited the High School for Music and Arts. The mayor saw how our students learn, and heard from the staff about the educational methodology of the high school. The mayor was impressed by the pleasant, unique environment, and was greeted with an emotional welcome by the students.
At the conclusion of the visit, the mayor met with the high school’s educational staff and heard from them about the particular needs of their students.
The school and its staff were very proud of this distinguished visit, and are grateful for the significant and fruitful discourse that was started as a result. Yishar Koach to all those involved!
